Hey guys apologies it’s been two weeks. I came back from Rome and caught the flu but I’m better & BACK!!! Don’t worry y’all get to hear about my trip & my fun finds later on this week I promise.
It’s spring and everything is in full bloom and so should your wardrobe. The first few weeks of spring in Germany were filled with snow and rain but this passed week has been so hot you’d think it was the middle of July. Since the weather is so unpredictable I’ve been living in my floral & flowy pieces.
Seasonal changes can be really frustrating but there’s plenty of ways to own your spring look. I’m dress obsessed right now but creating a functional yet stylish spring look can be done to anything in your closet. So try stepping out in that dressy blazer or those favorite pair of slacks you’d wear only to dinner. I know it’s common for us ladies to save our most beautiful dresses for special events but if it’s something you want to wear just make it day-time & casually appropriate. Try mixing your look up with sandals and flats instead of heels. Try keeping things simple by wearing less or little to no accessories. One of the most popular runway trends is adding a denim jacket to whatever it is you have on. And of course if you’re someone who keeps cold add that sweater, if it’s dark toned or blacked out use this time to brighten it up.
Have fun with even old things in your closet and wear that dress as a top paired with jeans. Matching a plain t-shirt with a fancier skirt is always fashionable too. One thing thats for sure this spring my love for floral & colored Maxi dresses aren’t going anywhere! So what’s your trendy inspiration this spring? Whether it’s stripes, polka dots, mixing prints, bright colors or even pastels I can wait for you to share with me on how you’re styling it up this season.
